Something Fresh.jpg

My aboriginal dot paintings setting, is far up in Michigan’s upper peninsula. It is at my families’ cabins on the peaceful Fortune Lakes Chain. The blue on my painting represents water, and the white dots represent the white caps on windy days. Otherwise the water is calm.
One problem I ran into was when I was doting the paint was too thick in some spots, and when it dried it cracked. My solution to that problem was add, a little Mod Podge to my paint and go over the cracks. Another problem I had was the corners rolled up, because of the water that is in the paint. My solution to that was to use masking tape to hold down my corners.
I am happy with my painting, because I know I did my best even though I had some minor problems.
